This page makes free Christmas bingo cards from a ready-made list: 40 Christmas words for a party or a class, 30 short words for young readers, or Christmas Morning Bingo, 40 things that happen while the presents get opened. Every card in the PDF is different. Change any word, or type your own list of up to 150.

How to play

The caller cuts the calling sheet into slips, draws one at a time and reads it out. Players mark that word if it's on their card. The first to finish a line across, down or corner to corner shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card against the slips drawn.

Christmas Morning Bingo has no caller. Hand out cards before the first present, and everyone marks a square when it happens in the room. Someone gets socks; someone says "You shouldn't have." First line wins, and nobody minds that the game takes all morning.

Christmas bingo: questions

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no sign-up, no ads.

How many cards should I print?

One per player, plus a few spares. You can print up to 100 different cards in one PDF. Four to a page saves paper; one to a page gives the biggest squares, which suits young children and senior centers.

How many words does Christmas bingo need?

A 5 x 5 card with a free space holds 24 words, so 24 is the least. With exactly 24, every card has the same words in a different order, and several players tend to win at once. The 40-word lists here make the cards different enough that winners spread out.

What can we use to mark the squares?

Anything small: buttons, dried beans, wrapped candies, mini marshmallows. Print on card stock and the cards last for next year.

Can I add my own words?

Yes. Edit any list in the maker or type your own, up to 150, one per line. Each square holds up to 40 characters.

Can I sell puzzles I make here?

Yes. Use them for anything: classrooms, newsletters, party games, or your own puzzle books for sale. You don't need to ask or pay. Free sheets keep one small line at the bottom of each page with our name and web address. A Pro version, coming later, will make sheets without that line and export a whole book at once.
