This free bingo card maker prints classic number bingo (1 to 75), numbers in any range you choose, or bingo with your own words, up to 150 of them. Cards come in 3 x 3, 4 x 4 or 5 x 5, with or without a free space, and every card in the PDF is different. The calling sheet lists everything in the game so the caller can cross items off.

How to make printable bingo cards

  1. Choose your game: classic number bingo (1 to 75), numbers in a range you choose, or your own words.
  2. For word bingo, type your words, one on each line or separated by commas.
  3. Choose how many cards you need. Every card is different.
  4. Download the PDF. It holds all your cards plus a calling sheet.

Cards come in 3 x 3, 4 x 4 or 5 x 5. A 5 x 5 with a free space in the middle is the way most players expect.

How many words you need

A 5 x 5 card has 24 squares to fill, besides the free space, so you need at least 24 words. With exactly 24, every card holds the same words in a different order. That works, but every call marks every card, so games end fast and several players often shout bingo at once. With 35 to 50 words, the cards differ more and the winners spread out.

Classic number bingo uses the numbers 1 to 75: B column 1 to 15, I 16 to 30, N 31 to 45, G 46 to 60, O 61 to 75.

The calling sheet

The caller works from the calling sheet: every number or word in the game, in one list. Cut it into slips and draw them from a bowl, or cross items off as you call them. When someone shouts bingo, check their card against what's been crossed off.

Ways to use bingo cards

  • Classrooms. Vocabulary, sight words or math facts. Put the answers on the cards and call the question: "seven times eight" means students hunt for 56.
  • Parties and holidays. Make the words fit the theme: summer camp, a birthday, the family reunion.
  • Baby showers. Guests fill their cards with gifts they guess the parent will open, and mark them off as the presents come out. Type in 40 or so likely gifts: onesies, bibs, a sound machine.
  • Seniors' groups. Bingo is a staple in senior centers. Print one card to a page for the biggest squares.

Printable bingo cards: questions

How many players can I print for?

One card per player, plus a few spares.

Is it free?

Yes. No account and no sign-up.

Can players reuse cards?

Yes. Print on card stock and use buttons, beans or bingo chips as markers.

Can I sell puzzles I make here?

Yes. Use them for anything: classrooms, newsletters, party games, or your own puzzle books for sale. You don't need to ask or pay. Free sheets keep one small line at the bottom of each page with our name and web address. A Pro version, coming later, will make sheets without that line and export a whole book at once.

How many cards can I print at once?

Up to 100 different cards in one PDF. Print one to a page for the biggest squares, which suits senior centers and young children, or four to a page to save paper.
